- After 15 minutes, take the lid off with one hand and quickly turn the sweet potatoes over with the other hand, using tongs. Replace the lid immediately.
- Continue cooking over low heat. Set your kitchen timer for15 minutes.
- I've written detailed instructions... but you turn the sweet potatoes 4 times to cook them on all sides. The first 2 times they are cooked over medium heat, and the last 2 times they should be cooked over low heat.
- After 15 minutes (Step 9), take off the lid and see if you can pierce the sweet potatoes easily with a skewer. Replace the lid, turn off the heat and let sit for 15 minutes.
- After sitting for 15 minutes, they're done.
